Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Fundamentals Class

Our Fundamentals Class is ideal for beginners in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It covers core principles, basic movements, and essential techniques in an motivating, smaller-class environment—perfect for first-timers or those refining their skills. Start your BJJ journey with a strong foundation!

All-levels Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Class

Our All-Levels Class welcomes everyone—from beginners to advanced students. You’ll focus on partner drills, refining techniques, and building a solid foundation for live rolls at the end of class. Whether you’re sharpening basics or exploring new moves, this supportive class helps clients improve quickly, ideal for those who would like to win tournaments sooner rather than later.

BJJ Open Mats

Open Mats are a great way for non-members to meet our community and experience Arroyo Grappling. Train with diverse partners, test your skills in a relaxed setting, and explore new techniques. While not ideal for total beginners, it’s perfect for those with experience looking to learn, connect, and grow. Come see what makes us special!

BJJ Advanced Class

The Advanced Class is for students with three stripes on their white belt or higher. It focuses on high-level techniques that expand on the fundamentals, detailing core mechanics, and complex chains of transitions and submissions. Perfect for highly-motivated competitors.

MONDAYS 8:00pm-9:10pm

BJJ Intermediate Class

The Intermediate Class is for students with a solid grasp of the basics, ready to level up through strategic, movement-based drills. Focused on refining transitions and adapting techniques in live scenarios, it’s ideal for those looking to deepen their BJJ skills. Not suited for beginners or trial classes, but good for those ready to take the next step.

Balance & Flexibility Workshops

Your body can’t use all of its power if it doesn’t feel stable enough. Step up your game by mastering the foundational skills others gloss over.
Open up your hips for more powerful roundhouses, learn how to activate your core for commanding grappling strength, and more.

Level 1 - Kid's Jiu-jitsu

Our Level 1 Class (ages 5-9) teaches BJJ basics through fun, play-based learning. Kids build confidence, coordination, and resilience while learning the foundational athletic movements necessary for jiu-jitsu. It’s an encouraging space for growth—on and off the mats! 

FRIDAYS 5:30pm-6:30pm

Level 2 - Kid's Jiu-jitsu

Our Level 2 Class (ages 10-16) is more oriented towards older children who are able to pay attention and have the self-control required to safely work in partner pairs. This opens up instruction to joint locks, chokes, and more advanced takedowns, the bread-and-butter of jiu-jitsu!

FRIDAYS 6:30pm-7:30pm

Kid's Boxing (ages 5-9)

Our Kid’s Boxing class teaches key fundamentals like footwork, punches, and head movement in a fun, engaging way. Kids develop coordination, agility, and confidence while learning discipline and focus. Perfect for improving fitness and skills in a welcoming environment! 

SATURDAYS 10:30am-11:30am

Youth Kickboxing/MMA (ages 10-16)

Our Youth Kickboxing/MMA classes introduce teens to boxing, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with a focus on self-defense. Students build skills in striking, grappling, and movement, while improving strength and agility. As they progress, the focus shifts to conditioning and perfecting technique.
